Our roots run deep.

The Ash Grove Charitable Foundation makes grants annually to support the work of public charities with tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in the geographical markets that we serve.

As one of the largest cement companies in the United States and one of the oldest still in operation, Ash Grove plays an important part in the foundation and infrastructure of our country. And with plants from coast to coast, being a good neighbor in the communities in which we live and serve is a priority and part of our DNA.

Ash Grove territory is a lot of ground to cover. We believe in active participation to improve the existing and future quality of life in the communities we serve. This participation includes financial support to charitable activities. We aren’t just focused on building highways and buildings – we are also helping to build better communities.

We're honored to be part of the communities in which our employees live and work. In 2022, the Ash Grove Charitable Foundation donated over $800,000 to approximately 100 qualifying charities.

Together with community donations, funds from raffles, and other sponsors, a total of $37,000 was raised to finish the Monroe City cemetery memorial, including five tablets with names of over 950 local veterans, two bronze sculptures, benches, and flag poles.

We are privileged to employ over 100 residents of Baker County (Oregon) and to sponsor their Miners' Jubilee. This three-day event celebrates the county’s gold mining heritage that has been held annually since the late 1800s. It was a fun weekend with a parade, mining demonstrations, bronc, and bull riding!

The Texas Ramp Project has announced two grants provided to Ellis County ramp projects. The Ash Grove Charitable Foundation granted $5,000 and the Waxahachie Foundation donated $4,500.

The Rotary Club of Waxahachie participates in wheelchair ramp production and has built more than 150 ramps. These ramps serve a variety of individuals who would mostly be confined to their homes without the ramps.
